Partlet Documentation

As I said in my previous post about the ACC Partlet, There are portraits indicating Florentine high necked partlets without an overgown.

For example,
Italian, Florentine - Portrait of a Lady (1555-60)

or:
Portait of a Florentine Noblewoman, 1540

Therefore, I'm using these as precedent to turn my inspiration partlet into something that is wearable with and without an overdress/zimarra.

  1. Yay, documentation! Now, whenever I'm about to start something, I do the research first to ensure I'm period-correct! It's much more fun this way!

    Love those partlets!

  4. Thanks for your post. I’ve been thinking about writing a very comparable post over the last couple of weeks, I’ll probably keep it short and sweet and link to this instead if thats cool. Thanks. visa de canadá
